Wednesday, July 10, 2013. What a week. First thing this morning, I saw Kasi. I have to tell you that he is the best hugger on campus, and I just had to get a photo with him. When you're wrapped in Kasi's arms, you're wrapped up! So here you go! Kasi and me :):
He's such a good guy. A little before lunch, Nancy W. needed help with her Excel file, and I'm kind of the go-to girl for those things. So I went over to Nancy's office to help her with her stuff. I did the first file, helped her through the second, and here we are together in her office:
I'll get a front-faced photo of her in the near future :).
Peter came over for lunch. He brought me a fish sandwich and some fries from Dairy Queen. They weren't the best, but it was lunch. The company was great!
Other than that, it was a regular kind of day, just taking care of people and phone calls and emails and trying to get jobs done.
As a counselor in the Stake Primary, I get the opportunity to visit the homes of children in various wards, and Rebecca A. and I went to visit a few people from the Ashford Ward. The first person was sick, so we didn't spend any time there. As we traveled, the rain started pouring down with tornado warnings in some parts of the state, including Putnam, which is where we were headed to visit Amy W. and her son, Hunter C. I've known Amy almost all her life. We had a nice visit. I like Hunter with hair on his head (Amy usually has it shaved off). She says that Hunter wants to grow his hair long (and I agree with him).
I got home from our visits around 7:00 or so. It was a good evening. Peter was making something to eat and we hung out until JAY BROUGHT ALEXANDRA HOME!!!! Yay! I hadn't seen her in so long (well, two months isn't all that long, but I missed her :). We spent a little time visiting, and then we all went to bed. Alexandra was exhausted from her travels.
