Day 9!

Wednesday, July 3, 2013. Another good day at work. I punched in right on time and got right into the transcript routine. By day's end, I had electronically submitted everyone's transcript. The registrar did the hard copies for TRCC, which I delivered when I had lunch with Peter. We had lunch at Dairy Queen. I had two Dilly Bars, one cherry and one butterscotch coated. I love them because they're frozen like a rock. So that was my very healthy lunch :).

This is me with my boss, Jeanne, in her office:

Jenn has to be a little less squiggly with the camera so we get more in-focus photos...

On my way home, I stopped at Sofia's to pick up Henry, her baby kitty, which we are watching until Sunday because she's going with Robby and his family to New Hampshire. I wanted to keep him in his cat carrier, but it was just so hot in the car. I didn't want him to have heat exhaustion so I let him out of the carrier and he sat on my shoulder during the drive like this:

Henry and I stopped at Dideric's and Tia's because Tia picked up some pastries for us at the bakery below their apartment. I thought there would be just a few, but there were two big boxes of extremely yummy pastries and a loaf of freshly baked rye bread (it is yummy). Here are Dideric and Tia together:

I love this look :). I ate three pastries...the fat...we won't talk about that. :)

There was one more stop en route home and that was the post office to pick up my visa for Brazil. That's one more thing I can check off my list!

Jay had to go to a meeting in Ashford. Peter and I took a walk and saw Irene and Maggie watching a big barn owl in a tree. Peter took pictures. I'll try to download them tomorrow and will post if they look good. Then Peter and I went to the grocery store to pick up some fish for tomorrow's lunch. Peter got an A on his English paper, and he and we are thrilled.

Now it's relaxing time. I think I'll read a little and go to bed very soon.
