July Already!!

Day 7. Monday, July 1, 2013. Can you believe this is already July 1? I spent the whole day at work sequestered in my office typing tags for scholarships and National Honor Society for seniors. I had to get all the seniors done so that we can get ready to print out their transcripts and send them to colleges. I still have to get the listing of honors tags to enter from this last report card, but Claudia has not gotten that to me yet. Hopefully tomorrow...So  here's today's picture of me typing (and yes, I am wearing a skirt):

It's a little blurry. I'd better mention that to Jennifer so she can try harder not to move the camera. You see that red hoodie on the back of my chair? Jeanne gave it to me as a random gift because sometimes I get so cold in my office. I'm only three doors down from the door to the outside, and in the wintertime, the wind and cold just blows in. That was very sweet and thoughtful of her.

My foot has been bothering me (specifically my big toe) for the past month, so I made an appointment with my podiatrist, Dr. Colsen. He's wonderful. I might have gout (ugh), so I had the blood work done on the way home. He said that aspirin therapy is the second greatest cause of gout (interesting fact), and I take an aspirin a day. You just can't win. You try to fix one thing and then you mess up another. BUT, it may not be gout, so he taped my foot, saying that it might be a muscle thing. If it is muscle, my foot should feel much better tomorrow morning. I'm hoping!!!

On the way home from work, I stopped at the firehouse to finish off my report and pay the stipends to the firefighters, which Matt just got to me. Then I got home, practiced piano a bit and then had a good lesson. Steve said I'm doing just fine. :) He loaned me a drum pad and a pair of 7a sticks so I could use them to order the right ones for myself, which I did when I got home. I had a bite to eat and then off to the Attawaugan Fire District meeting, which was smooth and easy, and we got home a little before 8:00 p.m. Now it's time to RELAX! Yay!
